A few posts ago I discussed digital natives – people born before 1980 who supposedly have excellent digital skills. This assumption was challenged by teachers and others, and now a report from the eBorger (eCitizen)-test shows that 46,8 % of 15-year olds who took the test failed. Students at university are not much better. 36 % of students at finnmark university college scored so low in the test that they need more training if they are to become effective e-citizens.

The test measures basic computer and Internet skills needed to be an effective computer user).
